Concrete removal from stormwater pipeline

The Netherlands

Concrete that was meant for the foundation of a building had filled a stormwater pipeline near Amsterdam, the Netherlands after one of the reinforced concrete foundation pillars was drilled through the line.

Pipe replacement was not an option, because the storm drain crossed an important highway. It took more than a week to remove all the concrete and the pillar from the storm drain with up to 2000bar precision water jet cutting.
